New Music Fridays Brand & Trademark – Usage Guidelines
These guidelines explains how you may use the New Music Fridays logo, trademark and other brand assets (“Brand Assets”).
You may use the Brand Assets in accordance with these guidelines. These guidelines are subject to revision at any time.

You may use the Brand Assets for promotional purposes to support the Global Release Day initiative and New Music Fridays, including in connection with the lawful sale of recorded music, including stickering on physical recorded music product, instore promotional material (e.g. on rack and point of sale), and promotional use on websites and other online or mobile services which are licensed to make available recorded music.
Otherwise you may not use the Brand Assets for any purpose. We may require you to stop using the Brand Assets if in our opinion your use is not permitted by these guidelines or is outside the scope of any permission we may give you. If you wish to use any Brand Asset in any way that is not expressly authorized in these guidelines, for example in products or manufactured goods for commercial sale, please contact us at [email protected] with your request, which we will consider.
You may not use the Brand Assets in a manner that suggests any type of association, affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement by IFPI or in a way that can be reasonably interpreted to suggest that any content has been authorized by, or represents the views or opinions of IFPI. You may not use the Brand Assets in conjunction with any content associated with gambling, pornography, or illegal activities, or in any way that is deceptive, harmful, obscene, unfair, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable. You may not use the Brand Assets as part of the title of any blog, book, or website. The New Music Fridays trademark is owned by IFPI. Neither these Guidelines nor your use of the Brand Assets grants you ownership in the Brand Assets or any of them. Except as expressly permitted by these guidelines, you are not granted any right to use the New Music Fridays trademark or any other Brand Assets or elements.
